Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet anticipate several work zone construction and maintenance activities at several location across District 2 — many of which will impact travel during this week.

In Caldwell County:

Monday will involve potholing on various roads, as well as the mowing of several roads in the southern portion of the community.

Wednesday will involve potholing on various roads, and the continued mowing of the southern county.

Thursday and Friday both bring ditching on KY 902, as well as more mowing, with some of that shifting to the northern portion of the county.

In Christian County:

Flaggers will be on KY 398 Monday, in order for pothole repair.

There will be tile replacement on KY 1026 Wednesday, as well as some brush cutting on the first five miles of the Pennyrile Parkway.

Thursday, officials will be pothole patching along I-24, while brush cutting resumes on the Pennyrile Parkway and begins on KY 189 between the 3 and 5 mile markers.

On Friday, pothole patching continues on I-24, and brush cutting continues on the Pennyrile Parkway and KY 189.

In Hopkins County:

Workers will be mowing various roads, mulching with a lane closure on I-69 and mowing with a lane closure on KY 291.

Wednesday, officials will be mulching between the 95 and 98 mile markers on I-69, while continuing mowing along KY 291. Both efforts will still need lane closures. There will be mowing on various roads, too.

Mulching on I-69 continues Thursday, as does mowing on various roads like KY 291, and pothole patching will begin on I-69, the Pennyrile Parkway and the West Kentucky Parkway.

Friday, workers will begin pothole patching US 41 south, as well as other roads, while mulching continues on I-69 along the 95 through 98 mile markers, and mowing on KY 291 and other thoroughfares.
