The community has the opportunity to rally around the employees of the Cadiz Restaurant again during a softball tournament lasting all day Saturday.
The tournament is taking place at the Trigg County Recreation Complex. Organizer Shell Malone told Your News Edge that five teams are playing.
Longtime Cadiz Restaurant employee Wanda Rogers added that they appreciate the community support.
Malone thanked those who helped her gather donations for a silent auction that will last until at least 4 PM.
Lunch from Bar-B-Que Shack in Hopkinsville will be served. The tournament’s championship game will take place after 6 PM Saturday.
