Kate Hart’s Solo Show at The Princeton Art Guild

The Princeton Art Guild is honored to show the work of local Artist, Kate Hart, in our Charles Alvin Lisanby Gallery during the months of August and September.
“I have loved art for as long as I can remember. As I was growing up, it became a creative outlet for me and brought me a sense of calm. With the busyness of university and usually living abroad, I haven’t been able to paint as much as I would have liked in the past few years. The pandemic brought me home to Princeton, but it also gave me the opportunity and time to reignite this passion and finally paint again. Some of my first memories of art were from attending summer art camps at the Art Guild, so it is an inexpressible feeling to see things come full circle and have my art displayed there now. I’ve created an (almost) entirely new collection for this show, the focus of which is a series of portraits of strong women, and also includes some paintings of animals and flowers. I had so much fun painting these new pieces, and I hope you all enjoy seeing them as well.”
