The Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s annual fundraising auction continues to run slightly behind 2018.
After two nights Hopkinsville Rotarians have raised more than $94,600, about $1,300 behind 2018. Tuesday night Rotarians sold 90 items to bring in $12,055 dollars. The Country Store brought in $590, with the Diner and Sweet Shop raising $3,328 and the Hour and Goat Club netting $7,308.
Auction Chairman Trent Haddock says he is looking forward to school reports Wednesday and Thursday night.
Haddock notes the Hour and Goat Club portion of the auction is holding strong.
He notes contributing to the Hour Club will help Christian County students attend Hopkinsville Community College.
The auction continues Wednesday night at 7:00 at the Memorial Building in downtown Hopkinsville. Lunch will be served from 11 until 1, with dinner served beginning at 5:00 tonight.
Auction Chairman Trent Haddock is encouraging people to like the Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s facebook page. Each night they will post a list of items that will be sold during the auction. The auction can be viewed nightly at hopkinsvillerotary.org.
