Princeton Home Suffers Minor Damage in Sunday Fire

A Princeton home suffered minor damage in a fire early Sunday morning.

Fire Chief Brent Francis says that crews were dispatched to reports of a house fire on 301 Dawson Road just after five. He adds that the fire had started near a receptacle in a back room and was attempting to spread up the wall and into the attic.

Chief Francis notes that crews were on scene for about an hour and a half and were able to keep the fire contained to the back room. He states the house only sustained heat and smoke damage where the fire originated.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
