Motorists need to be aware of a work zone for traffic signal safety improvements at the intersection of the Hopkinsville Bypass and KY 109/Dawson Springs Road in Christian County Wednesday.
State transportation officials say a contractor will replace the existing signal heads with new retroreflective backplate signal heads and install additional signal heads.
Officials note the work may require some intermittent lane restrictions and/or flagging of traffic from time to time during the day Wednesday.
