Police are cracking down on distracted driving during the holidays with extra officers during peak travel times in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Police say they wrote 46 citations for failure to wear a seatbelt, 8 speeding tickets and 3 citations for using phones while driving on Tuesday.
Police say the goal is to educate the public on the dangers of driving while distracted and reduce collisions.
