Guthrie Police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Hi Road gas station on US 79 Saturday morning.
Guthrie Police Chief Dean Blumel said a man dressed in all black with a hoodie on entered the gas station just after midnight and went to the bathroom.
The man reportedly exited the bathroom with a mask over his face and brandished a silver handgun at the cashier demanding money.
The cashier would not turn over any money and the man attempted to hit him with the gun before fleeing the area.
It’s unknown if the man had a vehicle in the area.
