Christian County Reports Five New COVID-19 Cases

The Christian County Health Department is reporting five new cases of COVID-19, pushing the county’s total active cases to 191.

Health officials say the new cases Sunday push the total cases to 479 since the pandemic began in March.  114 of the active cases are in the young to middle adult category ranging in age from 22 to 59.  45 cases are in the pediatric category with ages between birth and 21-years of age.  25 cases are in the older adult age bracket, with seven cases among the elderly population.

So far Christian County has reported 283 recoveries, with five people deceased as the result of the virus.
