Christian County’s Rolling COVID Average Drops for Third Straight Day

Despite adding ten new cases Wednesday, Christian County’s seven-day rolling average of active COVID-19 cases dropped for a third straight day to its lowest total in over a week.

The health department said nine of the ten cases reported Wednesday involved people between 22 and 59 years of age. Christian County now has 237 active cases, slightly below the seven-day average of 240. No recoveries have been reported since Monday.

There are 51 active cases involving people over the age of 60, which is the lowest three-day average since August 10.

Christian County has reported 849 cases or just over five cases per day since the county’s first case March 19.
