Hopkinsville Police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a Hopkinsville Police officer on West 13th Street Friday morning.
Police say just after midnight an officer was on West 13th Street near Bethel Street for a report of shots fired when a person in front of a home ran off firing shots in the direction of the officer. The unmarked officer’s vehicle, along with a car on the side of the road, were hit.
No injuries were reported and no arrest has been made.
