Christian County Reports Four COVID Deaths From State Audit

Christian County has become the 12th Kentucky county to report at least 100 deaths linked to the COVID-19 virus.

The Christian County Health Department reported four deaths Friday that were the result of the ongoing audit of the state’s reporting system. Two of the deaths involved African-American males and two involved white females. The ages ranged from 52 to 80.

The health department has confirmed 101 deaths in Christian County linked to the virus. The state’s COVID-19 website reports Christian County with 103 deaths.

The health department reported 166 active cases of COVID-19 across the county with 48 cases involving people 21 and under and 95 in the 22 to 59 age group.
