Woman Arrested On Warrant For Robbery

A Nicholasville woman was charged Thursday night in connection to a robbery in December at a Hopkinsville Dollar General.

Hopkinsville Police say on December 17th 36-year-old Jasmen Quarles and 60-year-old James Carter concealed merchandise from the Dollar General on East 7th Street and fled the store.

As they fled the store Carter reportedly injured an employee by shoving him to the ground.

Carter was arrested on March 6th. They are both charged with second-degree robbery.

Quarles was also served an indictment warrant for first-degree robbery but no information has been released on what led to the charges.
