A two-vehicle wreck on Rockcastle Road, near Rabbit Ridge Road, in Trigg County sent a man and woman to the hospital Wednesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say around 7:00 pm an SUV driven by Beth Mann was westbound when a car driven by John Repass failed to properly navigate a curve at a high rate of speed and crossed into her lane. Mann drove off the roadway trying to avoid the crash, but Repass also ran off the roadway and struck her vehicle.
Deputies say Repass fled on foot after the crash but was located at his home on Little River Boulevard a short time later.
Mann was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for what authorities say are minor injuries. Repass was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for head injuries then later transfer to a Nashville hospital where he remains in stable condition Friday afternoon.
A full list of Repass’s charges has not been released.
