A Cadiz man was arrested and charged with assault after he reportedly choked and assaulted his girlfriend on Lafayette Street in Cadiz Thursday afternoon.
Cadiz Police say 20-year-old Adrian Scott struck a woman multiple times in her head, stomach, legs, side, and back with punches and kicks along with choking her during an argument.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree strangulation.
