Trigg Grand Jury Indicts Three on Felony Theft and Drug Possesson Charges

Three people have been indicted by a Trigg County grand jury on felony theft and drug possession charges stemming from a Trigg County Sheriff’s Office investigation in August.

44-year-old Jeremy Davis and 35-year-old Amanda Davis — both of Cadiz — and 32-year-old Melinda Cornett of Crofton saw true bills returned against them by the December session of the grand jury.

All three were indicted for receiving stolen property, $1,000 or more; endangering the welfare of a minor; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; controlled substance not in a proper container; complicity to second-degree possession of a controlled substance; and three counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

The charges stem from an August 29 incident and subsequent investigation in Trigg County. No other details were provided.
