Tornado Response Heralded During County Farm Bureau Meeting

The Christian County Farm Bureau Agency Managers say they are pleased with the insurance company’s response following the December tornadoes.

Agency Managers Ashtyn Hudson and Gary Keeton discussed the details of the response during the annual Christian County Farm Bureau meeting at the Western Kentucky State Fair Thursday night. Hudson says he was amazed at the amount of claim money paid out following the tornadoes in December 2021.

Keeton says Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance continues to be a steady leader in the recovery process.

Meanwhile County President J. E. Pryor reported another successful year for the county organization.

County Policy Development Chairman Wesley Pryor presented one proposed policy to the membership, with the recommendation adopted without question.

Also during the annual meeting, Luke Luttrell was named Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth Male and Trinity Powell won the female title, with both to represent the county at the area level this fall. In the female category, Claire Lacy took second and Kinze Johnson took third. Both winners will also represent Christian County at the Kentucky Farm Bureau Congressional Tour in February 2023.

Entertainment was provided by The Todd County Boys Bluegrass Band.
