Elevate Windows And Doors To Locate In Hopkinsville’s New Spec Building

Another significant investment in Kentucky’s manufacturing sector is headed for Christian County.

Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday morning the arrival of Elevate Windows and Doors LLC, which will invest more than $16 million and create 200-plus full-time jobs in production and distribution in Hopkinsville.

Company leaders are planning to acquire an already-existing 100,000-square-foot building on 22 acres of land in Hopkinsville, with full plans to push Elevate’s manufacturing and distribution footprint through the southern United States.

Company leaders also noted that Christian County’s strategic distribution location, available workforce and business-friendly environment were key factors in locating the business. The new jobs created will include 183 light manufacturing and shipping roles and 20 office positions. Production is expected to begin as soon as April 2023.

In a written statement, Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble thanked Elevate leaders for their decision to purchase the Commerce Park I Spec Building, and thus adding the $16 million and 200-plus jobs to the local economy. Tribble also gave credit to Beshear, Cabinet for Economic Development Secretary Jeff Noel and TVA Senior Vice President of Economic Development John Bradley for utility, education and workforce partnerships that helped secure this industry’s arrival.

Carter Hendricks, South Western Kentucky EDC executive director, noted the project “helps diversify the rapidly-expanding industrial sector in the region.
