Man Charged With Drug Possession AfterTraffic Stop

A Clay, Kentucky man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on East 5th Street in Hopkinsville Saturday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Joseph McBride was stopped after making an improper turn and when asked about what was in the vehicle he grabbed at his pocket then admitted to having marijuana.

After a search of his belongings, he was reportedly found to have marijuana in his pocket along with meth and a pipe in the vehicle.

He was arrested and charged with improper turning, driving on a DUI suspended license third offense, possession of marijuana, meth, and drug paraphernalia.
