Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear declared a State of Emergency before the main line of severe weather made its way across the state Friday.
As a part of the declaration, Governor Beshear says that Kentucky National Guard members have been placed on standby.

Kentucky State Police are urging those who may be stranded on the road to call 1-800-222-5555.
