The Cadiz Rotary Club and Genesis Express are again teaming up for their annual ‘Fill the Pits’ fundraiser on Saturday.
Cadiz Rotarian Jim Wallace tells Your News Edge they are about halfway to their goal.
He says things seem a bit slower for this year’s effort.
To place an order, you can call Wallace at (270) 836-4977. Orders can also be made with Rotarian Tim McGinnis at (270) 350-0336. Both say texts are welcome or leave a voicemail.
McGinnis says order pickup will be Saturday at the old Genesis Express location on Jefferson Street.
Proceeds from this fundraiser and next week’s Cadiz Rotary Club Radio Auction will benefit youth and seniors in Trigg County.
The Cadiz Rotary Club auction will occur from 6:00 to 9:00 Monday through Friday evenings next week at the Cadiz Baptist Church Annex.
