Ascend Elements, Toyota, And Novelis Projects On Track

The construction of the Ascend Elements facility and expansion projects at Toyota Boshuku and Novelis continue to progress on schedule.

South Western Kentucky EDC Executive Director Carter Hendricks told board members during Monday’s meeting at Pennyrile Electric that construction of the Ascend Elements battery manufacturing facility continues on schedule as evidenced by a recent aerial photo of the construction site.

Hendricks and Tony Prim also noted the success of the Ignite project which involves partnerships with school districts in Trigg, Christian, and Todd Counties to show graduates not planning to attend college the options available in the workforce. And Hendricks recapped the grants that have been received from TVA and other agencies for expansion in the three-county region.
