Visitation will be from 10 AM until the service hour.

Survivors include:
His wife of 47 years, Beth Ann Faulkner;
His sons, Commander M. Garrett (Kristin) Faulkner, of Kodiak, Alaska, and Travis Cannon (Laura) Faulkner, of Hopkinsville;
His brother, Mike (Trudy) Faulkner, of Mayfield;
Six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Faulkner died at 9:06 a.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023, at his home.

A native of Clinton in Hickman County, he was born February 3, 1956, the son of late Leon Faulkner and Virginia Sue Cannon Faulkner Sams.

He married the love of his life, Beth, while they attended Murray State University, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in organizational communications.

The duo initially moved to Hopkinsville when he took a job with TVA, but he made a career as the HR Director at Dunlap Sales and, eventually, as an entrepreneur, owning and operating Adcocks Complete Cleaning Services.

He served as youth director at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church and later joined Second Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, moderator, choir member, and Sunday school teacher.

A passionate mentor, he taught public speaking and communications classes at Hopkinsville Community College and MSU, and was appointed as MSU’s Director of Communications Center.

Active in the community, he was a swim official and booster for Pennyrile Aquatic Club, Scout Master of Troop 13, and a 2nd Amendment advocate, teaching firearm safety and concealed carry classes.

But he was best known as a NASCAR fan, automotive enthusiast, and gearhead, recognized all over town in his beautiful convertibles and vanity plates including one with his self-styled moniker “The Wheelman.”

Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International or the church or charity of your choice.
