Funeral Services for 88-year-old Trixie A. Cunningham of Cadiz will be Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz.
Visitation will be at Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023, after 4:00 PM

Trixie A. Cunningham passed away at 4:57 PM, Monday, December 25, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Born February 5, 1935, in Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Oma (Stiltner) Shortridge. Trixie married Alven “Roy” Cunningham in 1953 and they enjoyed 63 years together, raising four children. She worked for a while at the former Trigg Knit Hosiery and as an in-home caregiver, but primarily devoted herself to her family as a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a longtime member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Among her many interests, Trixie loved spending time outdoors doing yard work and especially four-wheeling. She was also a talented quilter and skilled ceramics artist, firing her one-of-a-kind creations in her own home kiln.
