Legislators Discuss The 2024-26 State Budget Plan

The work of local legislators now becomes even more important following the passage of the 2024-26 state budget Thursday, February 1, by the Kentucky House of Representatives.

9th District State Representative Myron Dossett, who serves on the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, says this is the time when legislators work to make sure priorities are either added to the budget or remain in the two-year spending plan.
