According to Newsweek magazine, FNB Bank has been named in the top 250 of America’s Best Regional Banks for 2024, receiving a maximum five-star rating.

FNB Bank is also 1 of only 6 total banks and credit unions chartered in Kentucky to be included in the rankings.

To compile its rankings, Newsweek — along with Plant-A Insights Group — conducted an independent review of more than 9,440 financial institutions and surveyed more than 35,000 customers.

The study covered various aspects such as profitability, financial relevance, risk exposure to financial uncertainties, and overall health and stability of the financial institution.

The analysis also included media reputation monitoring and independent customer surveys.

Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper noted that regional banks, with their localized focus, “often cultivate strong relationships with customers, enabling them to provide personalized services,” and that “as these institutions become familiar in the neighborhood, they offer a sense of trust and community that resonates with account holders.”

Founded in 1875, FNB Bank is one of the oldest banks in Kentucky. With assets exceeding $660 million, the institution is a 2021, 2022 and 2023 “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” Small Business Category Award Winner, and currently has 10 locations in Graves, McCracken, Calloway, Trigg and Marshall counties.
