A woman was severely injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV was getting onto Interstate 24 eastbound from Pennyrile Parkway when it ran off the road and down an embankment.
A female passenger in the vehicle was reportedly taken by ambulance to the hospital with CPR in progress. The driver was also injured in the crash and was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health.
