Amy Rogers Named to Oversee Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau

Amy Rogers has seen the interim tag removed from her title and was named the executive director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau on Wednesday.

Rogers is a Trigg County native and holds degrees in Business Administration-Management, and Graphic Design, and is a member of the 2019 class of Leadership Hopkinsville. She has worked with the bureau for nearly three years.

Rogers replaces Ryan Clark, who was hired to the position in November following the resignation of Brooke Jung — who stepped away to accept the vice presidency of destination development and community engagement for Visit Albuquerque, New Mexico. Clark resigned in February.

The board also announced the promotion of Ginnie Pruitt to Finance and Operations Manager.

An open house will be held on April 30th at the Visitor’s Center on East 9th Street. The event will kick off with a ribbon cutting at 3:00.
