Man Charged With Possessing A Gun And Being A Convicted Felon

A Hopkinsville man was charged after a traffic stop on College Street Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Edwin White for failure to or improper signal and could smell the odor of marijuana.

After a search of the vehicle, a 40mm handgun was reportedly located in the glove box.

He was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
