Daytime Work Zone Lane Restrictions on I-24 in Trigg County Starting Monday

Drivers traveling on Interstate 24 in Trigg County need to be aware the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime work zone lane restrictions for various maintenance activities this week.

On Monday, there will be an eastbound lane restriction from the 66.5 mile marker to the 67.5 mile marker for shoulder work and all traffic will be moved to the left-hand or passing lane.

On Tuesday, an eastbound lane restriction will be in place from the 68-mile marker to the 69-mile marker for shoulder work, with traffic moved to the left-hand or passing lane.

On Wednesday, state transportation officials say mobile operations for pothole patching

will be from the 58 to 78-mile markers in both directions from 6:30 a.m. to about 3 p.m., each day. Drivers should be alert for trucks hauling materials into and out of the work zone with some delays possible for drivers.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the road close to traffic flow.
