Ward 1 Incumbent, Challenger Talk Homelessness, Small Businesses

The 2024 Primary Election in Kentucky is just over six weeks away and the League of Women Voters is kicking off debate season. Thursday night, several Hopkinsville City Council hopefuls answered previously submitted questions from the public.

When asked what she would put a one-million dollar grant toward, Ward 1 Incumbent Natasha Sophia Francis would focus on housing and youth.

Night 2 will be Monday, April 8, beginning at 5 pm with Republican candidates from Ward 7, 4, and 5 set to debate. Night 3 will be Thursday, April 11, starting at 5pm with both Republican and Democrat candidates from Ward 10 as well as Republican candidates from Ward 12 slated to take part.
