While Wednesday’s severe weather threat did not pan out, a threat Thursday is seeming increasingly likely.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, with a line of thunderstorms moving through the region late this afternoon through this evening. The main concerns with these storms are damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.

Officials add that the main line of storms Thursday night will begin to move into western Kentucky late this evening into the early morning hours Friday. Your Weather Edge team will monitor the weather situation and provide updates throughout the day and night.
