An investigation involving several agencies in Kentucky and Tennessee led to the arrest of a man on several warrants Wednesday afternoon.

Oak Grove Police say they went to the Days Inn looking for 26-year-old Byron Jones who had active warrants out of Clarksville.

He was reportedly found to have drugs in his possession and the room was rented using someone else’s name.

The investigation was handled by Oak Grove Police, Clarksville Police, DEA, and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones is charged with theft of identity, receiving stolen property, and trafficking drugs in Kentucky. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants for two counts of failure to appear and two counts of fugitive from another state.
