Three Charged, One Person Wanted In West 17th Street Shooting

Two juveniles were charged Thursday in connection to a shooting on West 17th Street in Hopkinsville that sent four people to the hospital including three juveniles on April 14th.

Hopkinsville Police said four people were injured when 23-year-old Stephen Bussell fired shots from his vehicle in front of the Christian County Health Department.

Two juveniles were taken into custody Thursday — one charged with possession of a handgun by a minor, tampering with physical evidence, and four counts of felony wanton endangerment, and the second charged with complicity to tampering with physical evidence.

Stephen Bussell was arrested on April 14th and charged with tampering with physical evidence, four counts of first-degree assault, and seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

Police said they are still looking for Darrin Bussell in connection to the shooting. He has active warrants for four counts of first-degree assault.
