Two juveniles were charged Thursday morning in connection to several burglaries that happened within the city limits of Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to a silent alarm at 811 Country Club Lane and when they arrived one of the suspects who was actively taking merchandise fled on foot and a second was taken into custody.

The juvenile that fled was later found at his home and after a search of the home police say evidence of other burglaries were found.

After law enforcement interviewed both juveniles, one of them allegedly admitted to committing multiple burglaries in the city.

They were both arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of attempted burglary for one of the juveniles. Police say they are both being held at a juvenile detention facility.
