A man was charged Thursday in connection to a shooting that happened April 26th on Pembroke Oak Grove Road in Oak Grove.

Oak Grove Police say 25-year-old Adrian Murray was charged after an investigation into a shooting that led to a man being flown to a Nashville hospital.

Law enforcement reportedly responded to a report of shots fired on April 26th with someone unresponsive around 11 pm near Gail Street and found shell casings and blood in the area but could not locate anyone who was injured.

Police say the man who had been shot was later located in Clarksville and flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville due to his injuries.

After further investigation, police say they got a search warrant for Murray’s home and with the help of Hopkinsville Police he was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree assault in connection to the shooting.
