Graveside services for 87-year-old Barbara Ann Stewart of Gracey will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Burgess Cemetery in Gracey with Wayne Hewell officiating. Burial will follow in Burgess Cemetery. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two brothers – David Groves and Landis Groves;
Grandchildren – Lindsay Thomas Stewart, Raymond Michael Stewart (Tyler), Michael Ferrell (Krystina), Amanda Oliver (Robert), Chris Fears (Summer), Chad Fears, Cloys Fears (Anna)

Barbara Ann Stewart was born in Hopkinsville, KY on May 31, 1937, to Willie Clyde Groves and Bessie Rose Groves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hatcher Stewart; three sons, Michael Ray Stewart, Mark Felix Stewart, and Lloyd Daniel Stewart; daughter Charlotte Ann Stewart; three brothers, Willie Groves, Stanley Groves, and Wesley Groves and three sisters, Hazel Ault, Roma Hunt, and Gracie Humphries.
She passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
Barbara graduated from Hopkinsville High School. She was a member of Buffalo Lick Baptist Church and was a certified medical tech and nurse aide. Barbara’s hobbies included quilting and reading.
