A Pembroke man was charged with drug possession while being arrested on active warrants on North Elm Street in Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they got out with 41-year-old Ricky Mayes to give him legal advice and found he had two active warrants for failure to appear.
While being arrested he was reportedly found to have a glass pipe and suspected meth.
Mayes is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
