George Reneer, 73, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton, KY. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Owensboro, KY he was born August 4, 1951 the son of the late John Christian Reneer and Virgie Mildred Lane Reneer Crabtree. He was retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Larry “Shorty” Reneer; and a granddaughter: Kathleen Pitts.
Survivors include his wife: Rose Reneer; his children: Tonya Reneer of Hopkinsville, KY, Tammy (Robert) Janes of Crofton, KY, Heather (Brad) Gregory of Hopkinsville, KY, Tyler (Jennifer) Reneer of Hopkinsville, KY, Jessica Reneer of Hopkinsville, KY, and Halie (Joseph) Francis of Elkton, KY; his brother: John (Jessica) Reneer of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren: Tanner Reneer, Taylor Reneer, Braxton Reneer, Braxton Huffman, Clark Francis, and Griffin Reneer.
