Julius Duwan “Juan” Reeves, 55, Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.
Julius, the son of Clara Reeves Johnson, was born on November 7, 1969, in Christian County, KY.
Julius was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was employed in the Maintenance Dept at Holiday Inn Express. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family, going to the casino, working on electronics, playing corn hole, and working puzzle books.
He is preceded in death by his son, Shaun Smith; sister, Tammy Watkins-Baker; and grandmother, Julia Watkins.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his life partner, Heather Shoemake; children, Juaneesha Reeves, Jaida Reeves, Zoey Reeves, Jazmine Merritt, Hunter Hoog, Savannah Shoemake, Christian Shoemake; siblings, Aaron Watkins, Isone Reeves, Gloria Reeves, Mose Redd, Jr., Jeannene Bailey, and Selena Targonski Matlock; 2 grandchildren; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
