A wreck on US 68 in Christian County sent four people to the hospital three with severe injuries Friday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say two cars collided in Trigg County then one of the cars accelerated going eastbound in the westbound lanes hitting a van and an SUV head-on before coming to a stop.
The driver in the car who is around 30 years old that was reportedly going the wrong direction had to be cut from the vehicle before being flown to a Nashville hospital.
Deputies say the driver of the van who is also around 30 years old and her 8-year-old child were also flown to Nashville hospitals.
A 17-year-old in the SUV was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for minor injuries.
