At the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, books aren’t the only way people are coming together this week.
The library has turned its focus toward celebrating local heroes with a series of activities for families and children. From donut decorating with police officers to story time with firefighters, the events are designed to bring first responders and the community closer together.
Youth Services Librarian Kiwana Bridges says the highlight of the week will be a special community event.
