Erik Pacheco has officially announced that he will be running as a Republican candidate for Sheriff of Christian County.
According to a news release Pacheco says after announcing his intention to run earlier this year and following many conversations, meetings, and thoughtful consideration, he has decided to seek election under the Republican Party. Pacheco says the Republican party aligns with his vision for strong leadership, accountability, and service to the community.
Pacheco says with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement and a proven commitment to Christian County, he believes that the role of Sheriff is about more than enforcement; it’s about building trust, strengthening relationships, and ensuring the safety and well-being of every resident.
Pacheco says he looks forward to engaging with residents across the county, listening to their concerns, and working together toward a safer, stronger future for Christian County.
