Trigg County and Cadiz officials have lifted the recent burn ban that was in place due to the extremely dry conditions.
Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries and Cadiz Mayor Todd King announced Thursday morning the burn ban had been lifted.
The Trigg County Mesonet recorded 2.39 inches of rainfall during the past 24 hours, with the monthly rainfall total at 3.1 inches.
