Auburn Bank, an independent community bank chartered in 1929, is expanding its presence in western Kentucky with a new location in Hopkinsville.

The office, located at 1002 South Virginia Street in the Forbes Building, is set to begin serving customers in mid-October.

The Hopkinsville office marks Auburn Bank’s third branch, joining locations in Auburn and Russellville. The expansion reflects the bank’s commitment to providing personal, community-focused financial services across the region.

The new office will be led by Kim Smith, Assistant Vice President and Office Manager, alongside banking professionals Jennifer Crunk and Annette Hargis. Together, they bring 75 years of combined banking experience to the Hopkinsville community.

Auburn Bank’s ownership and Board of Directors have longstanding ties to Christian County. Earl L. Calhoun and Michael L. (Mickey) Toms have more than 50 years of business service in Hopkinsville. Board member S. Martin McElroy, CPA, is the great-grandson of former Hopkinsville mayor Charles Mayfield Meacham, who authored A History of Christian County, Kentucky. The late Jerry T. Hart, a longtime local physician who passed away earlier this month, also served on the board.

Recognized for its stability and customer-first approach, Auburn Bank consistently ranks among the top Kentucky banks and has earned national recognition for excellence among peer community banks.

The Hopkinsville branch will provide Auburn Bank’s full line of personal banking, business banking, and lending services, continuing its tradition of local decision-making and trusted service that has guided the bank since 1929.
