
A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Canton Street in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Christopher Goode, and during the stop, the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle, 4 grams of suspected meth, 5 Lortab pills, 18 grams of marijuana, along with Demerol, Xanax, and Clonidine were reportedly found.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of opiates, trafficking marijuana, trafficking meth, and failure to produce an insurance card.
