Hopkinsville Man Charged After Armed Robbery

A Hopkinsville man has been charged shortly after a cell phone business in Hopkinsville was robbed at gunpoint on Friday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say Desmond Bryant entered Metro by T-Mobile on Fort Campbell Boulevard and forced an employee to pay off his bill at gunpoint.

He reportedly fled the area after the robbery but was located minutes after in a traffic stop on Dawson Springs Road.

Police say they went to Holley Street and collected the gun used in the robbery. Bryant was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.
