The only automatic car wash in Trigg County has undergone a significant upgrade and improvement.
Josh Abner has been the owner of the Arrowhead Car Wash on East Main Street for four years and recently completed the largest upgrade to the facility since it was built nearly 30 years ago.
The biggest enhancement is an all-new automatic washer that will now allow for larger vehicles and SUVs that have become the norm in modern-day transportation.

click to download audioThe new improvements also feature lighting upgrades to the three self-serve bays with no price increase expected. Abner did say there would be a bump in the price of packages offered at the new automatic bay, with those prices still comparable to or less than automatic car washes in nearby cities.
click to download audioAbner admits there have been some issues at the car wash over the past two years and said they have worked to “make it right” with customers. He hopes the next major upgrade involves leveling the entrance to the car wash to get rid of the steep incline coming off Main Street. However, he says that will need involvement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and a major financial investment.
