Terry Glowicki, 80, of Cadiz

Terry Michael Glowicki, 80, of Cadiz KY, received the crown of eternal life on October 6, 2025.

A Christian Funeral will be held October 16, 2025 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church located at 2526 Whitfield Rd, Clarksville, TN at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at King’s Funeral Home and from 2:00-3:00 pm at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Clarksville, TN.

Terry was born on June 14, 1945, in Saginaw Michigan, the only child to Michael and Evelyn (Tompa) Glowicki. He was adopted into God’s family through baptism at St. Josaphat Catholic Church in Carrolton. After graduating from Saginaw High in 1963, he enlisted in the United States Navy on October 4, 1965 and served in Vietnam. After serving his country, he worked for General Motors at the Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw. In retirement, he worked security at a movie theater and transported campers, delivering some to Louisiana following hurricane Katrina.

Terry married Gloria Jean Schmiege of Chesaning Michigan on August 21, 1971 at Christ Lutheran Church in Brady Michigan. They lived in Vassar Michigan for nine years before building a home together in Mayville where Terry served on the Township Board and were faithful members at St. Paul Lutheran Church where Terry served as a Pioneer leader, an usher and on the council for many years. Terry and Gloria were blessed with three boys, Jeremy, Joshua, and Matthew.

Terry and Gloria spent time in retirement as snowbirds in Texas. The couple moved to Cadiz, KY three years ago to get away from snow and the many leaves on their property.

Terry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria Glowicki; sons Jeremy (Debbie) of Jordan MN, Joshua (Shaun) of Denver CO, and Matthew (Katie) of Murrieta CA, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Evelyn Glowicki.
