An accident in a field near Pilot Rock Road in Christian County killed a woman Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 72-year-old Sheila Faughn was laying on the ground in a field near 12,000 block of Pilot Rock Road when she was struck by a truck that was driving through the field.
Deputies say Faughn reportedly had a mental episode before laying on the ground. The driver of the truck was searching for her in the field and could not see her.
Shortly after authorities arrived, the Christian County Coroner was called to the scene.
